Where do we get our inspiration?

Issue after issue, that’s one of the most important ingredients in FABULOUS FLOORS.
In the late Spring we invited 25 women -- designers, professionals, mothers-at-home and empty-nesters with a second home -- from across the demographic spectrum to participate in one of our regular consumer panels, run, of course, by our own Director of Consumer Research, Lisbeth Calandrino.
Our guests shared thoughts on their homes, opinions on all kinds of manufacturers’ new surfaces, new and different looks, the kinds of designs they’re fond of now and what they’re looking at for the future.
Part of each focus group also helps manufacturers, many of whom are our advertisers) get a read on new trends and frank responses to their proposed products.
This time, our group delved into the subject of making sure their homes is clean for Carpenter Company’s Stainmaster(tm) Cushion and Odor-Eaters(tm) technology. And they got to express their fashion thoughts on MeadWestvaco’s new Lustralite(tm) laminate featuring real materials for the surface image.
